To provide financial counselling to welfare clients referred by Emergency Relief Offices as part of the process of providing a hand up to those in need.
The aim of the service is to ensure that consumers who are encountering financial hardship will, through access to financial counselling services, attain the ability, skills and knowledge to successfully manage their financial affairs independent of further financial counselling.
